DUSTIN HILLMAN

OWNER | VISIONARY | DESIGNER | BUILDER

Dustin Hillman has spent more than 20 years building a career in the outdoor living industry through hands-on experience, entrepreneurship, and a passion for creating meaningful spaces. Born and raised in Fort Worth, Dustin graduated from Southwest High School before attending Tarleton State University. His journey started young mowing yards and steadily grew into managing large-scale, high-end masonry projects in areas like Possum Kingdom.

Over the years, Dustin expanded into multiple construction ventures and operated a landscape supply yard serving builders, contractors, and homeowners across the region. Through every stage of his career, Dustin recognized a gap in the industry and envisioned a company that could bring outdoor living, construction, and retail together under one roof. That vision became the foundation for The Collective Outdoors.

Known for his creativity, leadership, and eye for design, Dustin is driven by the idea that outdoor spaces should bring people together and create memories that last for generations.

CHELSY HILLMAN

OWNER | SPECIAL PROJECTS | RETAIL GENIUS

Originally from Arizona, Chelsy now proudly calls Texas home. She brings a powerful mix of industry knowledge, corporate retail experience, and strategic leadership to The Collective Outdoors. A graduate of the University of Arizona with a degree in Retailing & Consumer Sciences, Chelsy built her career working for nationally recognized brands including Home Depot and Dickies Apparel. Her background includes roles in outdoor garden sourcing, merchandising, manufacturing, and large-scale retail operations.

At The Collective Outdoors, Chelsy leads the retail and special projects side of the business with creativity, precision, and vision. From merchandising and large-scale purchasing to inventory strategy and customer flow, she helps shape a retail experience that can compete with major national retailers while still delivering the personal touch of a locally owned business.

She believes retail should feel inspiring, welcoming, and personal while helping customers feel confident and excited about their outdoor spaces.

JILL HEARNE

OFFICE MANAGER | OPERATIONS COORDINATOR | AIR TRAFFIC CONTROLLER

Jill Hearne helps keep The Collective Outdoors running smoothly every day. Originally from Keller, Texas and a graduate of Keller High School, Jill brings a strong local connection along with a background in property management and the service industry.

From managing vendors and tracking payments to coordinating schedules and keeping projects on track, she plays a vital role behind the scenes. Known for her positive attitude and welcoming personality, Jill is often the friendly voice and reassuring presence that keeps everyone connected and informed.

She has a talent for staying ahead of the details, keeping the team organized, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks. Whether handling day-to-day operations or supporting customers and staff, Jill does it all with grace, reliability, and always a smile.

ROBERT RAMM

RETAIL SALES MANAGER | PRODUCT EXPERT | GRILL MASTER

Robert may have been born in California but he is about as Texan as they come. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the DFW Outdoor Living retail and service industry to The Collective Outdoors. With a background specializing in grills, fire features, and indoor and outdoor gas logs, Robert has become a trusted expert for customers looking to create functional and inviting spaces.

Known as the guy with the answers, Robert takes pride in helping customers find the right products and solutions to fit their needs, style, and lifestyle. He believes the best customer experience starts with listening first and helping people understand what works best for their space.

Whether he is helping a homeowner with their first backyard project, assisting contractors with product selections, or supporting some of the largest home builders in the DFW Metroplex, he brings the same level of care and professionalism to every interaction.
